ASPECT Studios is a purpose orientated design led landscape architecture and urban design practice. With operations across Australia Asia the UK and the Middle East our studios believe in the power of design to positively change peoples behaviour and lives the environment and the planet.
Perth Studio
Our studio space is centrally located at the heart of the CBD on the banks of the Derbarl Yerrigan in the traditional lands of the Whadjuk Noongar people. We offer a highly collaborative environment with opportunities for handson mentorship and learning. Our team believes in the importance of creating a studio environment where an openness to new ideas and collaboration sits in partnership with deep knowledge and expertise.

The Role
Were looking for a passionate confident designer and project leader who can deliver outstanding landscape and urban design work from concept to construction.
As a Senior Landscape Architect youll contribute to a diverse range of exciting projects local civic university hospital and destination play spaces as well as international competitions master planning and public realm projects.
In this role youll:
- Lead the design and documentation of landscape architecture projects from concept through to construction
- Coordinate and manage project deliverables including base analysis site planning design development construction documentation and tender packages
- Present to clients and stakeholders with clarity and confidence
- Supervise and guide junior team members fostering a collaborative learning culture in our tightknit studio
- Work across a variety of project scales from strategic master plans to detailed construction packages
- Engage with contractors consultants and suppliers building strong and lasting industry relationships as you go
- Stay informed about emerging design trends and innovations sustainability practices and industry standards.
Were looking for someone who loves what they do both in their design work and in their contributions to team and studio culture. Youll be managing a variety of projects at different stages travelling locally and regionally to site and interacting with diverse project collaborators strong project management time management collaboration and communication will be key.
The successful person will have:
- Degree qualification(s) in Landscape Architecture Urban Design Architecture or equivalent
- 5 years of experience in professional design practice
- Ability to demonstrate strong design thinking and technical expertise across all project stages
- Proficiency in design software such as REVIT (critical) Vectorworks Rhino Adobe Creative Suite
- Exceptional visual communication and problemsolving skills
- Strong knowledge of sustainability in design and construction
- A passion for designing inclusive sustainable places.
