Job Description

Job Summary

Functions as a Polysomnographic Technologist and acts as a technical expert between the Director of Respiratory Care Services Medical Director staff and patients in support of a quality clinical practice and departmental operation. Accurately scores a minimum of 4 studies per shift 2 MSLT or combination.

Required Qualifications

Require Licensure as a Certified or Registered Respiratory Therapist with valid Florida State license under the Florida State Chapter 468 as CRT or RRT.
Require a minimum of five (5) years of experience as a Polysomnographic Technologist including: MSLT testing application of CPAP/BIPAP and montage creation.
Require a minimum of five (5) years of experience scoring independently.
Require current credentials as a Registered Polysomnographic Technologist.

Preferred Qualifications

Prefer prior experience with Nihon Koden and LAN equipment along with prior patient and staff teaching experience.
Prefer demonstrated ability to work and plan with others in a team setting while being creative and time effective.

Required License and Certs

BLS: Basic Life Support/CPR
RPSGT: Reg Polysomnographic Tech
