Job Description

The Helpdesk Technician provides technical assistance and direct support to internal associates for a variety of hardware and software needs. The Helpdesk Technician is responsible for desktop laptop hardware and software support along with additional technology support when needed. This role includes general software support user access management and resolution of technical support tickets. The technician also contributes to ongoing projects related to compliance and systems improvements.


Responsibilities and Duties:

  • Receive prioritize document and actively resolve end user help requests and technical issues through the internal support ticketing system.
  • Provide general software support and basic troubleshooting.
  • Set up and troubleshoot desktop hardware monitors peripherals and basic networking connections.
  • Partner with other corporate services departments to ensure onboarding and offboarding processes are completed including user setup and disabling account access.
  • Escalate unresolved issues to higherlevel support or specialized teams as appropriate.
  • Participate in projects related to compliance and internal system improvements.

Skills and Qualifications:

  • Experience in providing enduser support (desktop mobile and email).
  • Familiarity with remote desktop tools and virtual collaboration platforms.
  • Ability to learn and support various internal systems and tools.
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.

Additional Qualifications that are nice to have:

  • Associates degree in computer science Information Technology or related field or equivalent.
  • Certification such as CompTIA A or equivalent.
  • Experience in managing or provisioning user accounts.
