Sentara BelleHarbour Advanced Imaging Center located in Suffolk Virginia is hiring a CAT Scan Technologist to join our Team!
Overview
In this role you will provide quality Computed Tomography (CT) Imaging to patients under the direction of a supervising physician with adherence to the required protocol standards; perform Computed Tomography (CT) per protocol under the direction of a qualified physician; provide patient and family education; operate equipment safely; complete department documentation; maintain all equipment to be clean and operational; maintain adequate supply inventory for performing examinations; follow radiation safety regulatory guidelines; administer CT Contrast per protocol.

Education
- Trade School Graduate
Certification/Licensure
- ARRT(R) ARRT(T) CNMT NMTCB at time of hire are acceptable
- Must obtained ARRT (CT) advanced registry within 2 years of hire.
- BLS
Experience
- 7 12 months of sound experience and understanding of straightforward procedures or systems

The Advanced Imaging Center at BelleHarbour is conveniently located on the campus of Sentara BelleHarbour in Western Tidewater. The center is home to a 3T MRI CT PET CT full digital mammography ultrasound bone densitometry PVL (vascular imaging services) noninvasive cardiac diagnostic testing and digital Xray. Physicians and patients also benefit from the expertise of our subspecialized radiologists who ensure accurate results from the high quality images. Our subspecialties include womens imaging musculoskeletal (MSK) body and neuroradiology.
