Sentara Imaging Center at Sentara BelleHarbour in Suffolk VA is currently hiring a Flexi/PRN CT Technologist to join our team!
Hours
9 hour or 12-hour shifts are possible options
On call required for one week every 8 weeks
Overview
Performs Computed Tomography (CT) under the direction of a qualified physician. Perform CT Technologist I responsibilities with addition of one of the following: Intervention Dual modality CT/Diag or Hospital Based/Standing ED). Provide quality Computed Tomography (CT) Imaging to patients under the direction of a supervising physician with adherence to the required protocol standards. Performs Computed Tomography (CT) per protocol under the direction of a qualified physician; provides patient and family education; operates equipment safely; completes department documentation; maintains all equipment to be clean and operational; maintains adequate supply inventory for performing examinations. Follow radiation safety regulatory guidelines. Administration of CT Contrast per protocol.
Education
Trade School Graduate - Radiologic Technology(Required)
Certification/Licensure
ARRT or CNMT (Required)
Must obtain ARRT (CT) advanced registry within 2 years of hire.
BLS
Experience
7 - 12 months of sound experience and understanding of straightforward procedures or systems

The Advanced Imaging Center at BelleHarbour is conveniently located on the campus of Sentara BelleHarbour in Western Tidewater. The center is home to a 3T MRI CT PET CT full digital mammography ultrasound bone densitometry PVL (vascular imaging services) non-invasive cardiac diagnostic testing and digital X-ray. Physicians and patients also benefit from the expertise of our sub-specialized radiologists who ensure accurate results from the high quality images. Our sub-specialties include womens imaging musculoskeletal (MSK) body and neuroradiology.
