Senior Financial Analyst


People Incorporated Mental Health Services is seeking a Senior Financial Analyst to join our Finance team. The Senior Financial Analyst serves as a key player in driving financial planning analysis and strategic decisionmaking for the company. This role partners crossfunctionally with operations administration and executive leadership to deliver insights that fuel business growth and operational efficiency.


Schedule: FullTime MondayFriday regular business hours. Hybrid one day inoffice hours required


Location: Ames Impact Center: 3000 Ames Crossing Road Suite 600 Eagan MN 55121


Hiring Range: $81066 $ 87551/ Salary depending on qualificationsand experiencel plus $1000 hirining bonus for external candidates.

Main Job Duties:

  • Compiles and analyzes financial information for the organization creating monthly quarterly and annual reports ensuring that all data is accurate and expenditures are under control.
  • Examine and review with accounting month end reconciliation practices and outcomes providing recommendations as needed.
  • Responsible for performing financial forecasting and reconciliation of internal accounts.
  • Acts a partner in the annual budgeting process by providing advice and technical assistance with cost analysis fiscal allocation and budget preparation.
  • Act as Finance lead for assigned project teams.
  • Partners with Development and outside agencies to complete Request for Proposals (RFPs) and provide financials for fundraising efforts.
  • Evaluate accounting records and other data to determine the financial resources required to implement and support existing and future programs.
  • Meet regularly with the Operations Team and other key stakeholders to support and inform on fiscal practices ensuring that any budget adjustments are made in accordance with organizational and financial best practices.
  • Evaluate billing records in the EMR system to determine accuracy and support the billing and revenue cycle team with reporting.
  • Perform costbenefit analyses to compare operating programs review financial requests or explore alternative financing methods.
  • Ability to utilize system GUI to create and maintain BI reports and dashboards.
  • Basic understanding and knowledge of AI SQL and VBA to create Ad Hoc reports and troubleshoot preexisting reports as needed.



Requirements

Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelors degree in accounting Finance or a related business discipline
  • 46 years of experience in financial and data analysis research and financial reporting
  • In lieu of a bachelors degree 810 years experience in financial and data analysis research and financial reporting

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Masters degree or a masters in business administration (MBA) is preferred
  • Proficiency in SQL and VBA.
  • Previous experience in the healthcare industry.
  • Experience using BI (yellowfin or Power BI) and Copilot
