Job Overview
As the lead of Pricing Engineering for Coupang you will spearhead the development and execution of advanced pricing strategies and price crawling systems to ensure competitive market positioning. Your role involves leveraging data analytics to inform strategic decisions collaborating closely with product sales and marketing teams to align pricing strategies with business objectives and leading a team of engineers and data scientists. Your leadership will drive innovation and continuous improvement while ensuring compliance with relevant regulations.
Key Skills and Role Responsibilities:
- Develop Pricing Strategies:Create and implement pricing strategies that ensuring competitive market positioning.
- Price Crawling Management:Oversee the development and maintenance of price crawling systems to monitor competitor pricing and market trends.
- Data Analysis:Analyze pricing data and market trends to inform strategic decisions and adjustments.
- Crossfunctional Collaboration:Work closely with sales marketing and product teams to align pricing strategies with business goals.
- Leadership:Lead and mentor a team of engineers and data scientists fostering a culture of innovation and continuous improvement.
- Reporting:Provide detailed reports and insights to senior leadership on pricing performance and market dynamics.
- Compliance:Ensure all pricing activities comply with relevant regulations and company policies.
Qualifications:
- Bachelors degree and/or masters degree in computer science or equivalent with 15 Years experience in Software Engineering.
- 7 years of experience in pricing strategy data analysis or related fields; 5 years in a leadership role.
- Understanding of market dynamics competitive landscape and regulatory considerations.
- 5 years of people management experience.
- Excellent crossgroup collaboration outstanding verbal and written communication.
- Strong analytical skills proficiency in data analysis tools excellent communication and leadership abilities.
