As a Tech Risk & Controls Director in Cybersecurity & Technology Controls you will play a pivotal role in shaping and implementing the firms technology risk management strategy. Leveraging your advanced knowledge and expertise in technologyrisk disciplines you will identify oversee and mitigate compliance and operational risks in line with the firms standards. You will collaborate with various stakeholders including Product Owners Business Control Managers and regulators to develop and maintain a comprehensive view of the technology risk posture and its impact on the business. Your ability to make calculated decisions manage large teams and drive strategic projects will be crucial in ensuring the firms adherence to regulatory obligations and industry best practices. Your work will contribute to the longterm success and resilience of the organization in an everevolving technology landscape.
In this role you will lead our Regulatory and Industry Risk Evaluation and Assessment Practice you will be the primary interface between internal auditors and internal stakeholders including product and platform teams advising on complex technology governance risk and control objectives and ensuring the firms continuous compliance with key payments regulatory frameworks. You will provide strategic direction and expert leadership in control risk enablement readiness assessment practices and control optimization. Your deep background in technology control risk evaluation and assessments specifically focusing on global payments regulatory assessments such as Swift CHAPS and other relevant frameworks will set you up for success in this role.
Job responsibilities
- Serves as an expert in control risk evaluations managing relationships with various internal teams to ensure smooth assessment execution and delivery.
- Leads preparation efforts for major audits by ensuring appropriate controls documentation and evidence are in place.
- Acts as the primary liaison between audit teams technology and business units to align audit findings and ensure timely remediation of risks and gaps.
- Provides subject matter expertise in payments regulatory assessments ensuring adherence to frameworks like Swift and CHAPS.
- Oversees the evaluation and design of assessment frameworks and methodologies to ensure consistent efficient and highquality outcomes.
- Partners with senior stakeholders to provide riskbased guidance on control design operational effectiveness and audit preparedness.
- Leads efforts to enhance the firms risk assessment and control environment advising on control implementation to mitigate regulatory risks.
- Monitors regulatory trends to proactively address emerging risks and influence control strategies across the enterprise.
- Influences efficient execution of assessment programs ensuring alignment with organizational objectives and regulatory compliance.
- Establishes regulatory readiness programs to continuously enhance the firms control environment and documentation process.
- Leads governance of issues from assessments tracking concerns and ensuring timely closure of control deficiencies
Required qualifications capabilities and skills
- Extensive experience in control risk management or compliance with deep experience within a large organization.
- Demonstrated expertise in risk management frameworks industry standards and regulatory requirements relevant to the financial industry with a focus on audit principles payments regulatory standards (Swift CHAPS) IT General Controls and best practices for regulatory compliance and readiness.
- Proven experience managing relationships with internal and external auditors business and technology stakeholders and leading largescale assessment programs.
- Experience with GRC tools and data analytics to enhance audit efficiency and insight.
- Deep expertise in payments regulatory compliance and audit requirements
- Strong leadership and ability to influence at senior levels. Be able to collaborate globally and lead crossfunctional teamwork across APAC EMEA NAMR and LAC.

- Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills with the ability to translate complex audit requirements into clear actionable recommendations for business and technology stakeholders.
