About Us
ADF Health Services provides integrated healthcare services to Australian Defence Force (ADF) personnel across Australia. As part of this contract Serco in partnership with Bupa provides defenceready clinical and support staff across 50 onbase locations nationally ensuring that ADF personnel have access to quality onsite medical care. As a Bench Health Clerk you will be responsible for providing clerical services including maintenance of electronic and hard copy health records maintaining databases and information management systems filing and photocopying and ordering stationery. You will also communicate with internal and external customers to obtain patient information as required. The work you undertake will be by Defence Policies and Procedures MedicalinConfidence and StaffinConfidence standards.
A Bench role is a permanent fulltime position with benefits like sick and annual leave. You must be flexible and available to backfill for sick or planned leave even if you dont work all five shifts. Unlike a casual role youre paid as a fulltime employee regardless of shifts worked.
To be successful in this role you will have:
- The highest levels of personal integrity and ethical behaviour.
- Minimum of 1 year fulltime experience in an Administrative role (or parttime equivalent).
- Demonstrated ability to work in a customer servicefocused environment (desirable).
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team to support the delivery of safe efficient and highquality care to patients.
About The Health Centres
This role will predominantly cover Williamtown and Singleton however there may be a need for this role to cover our other centres across North NSW located at Richmond Glenbrook Balmoral & Waverton.

Your excellent interpersonal skills mean you can easily communicate with internal staff and external customers and your team knows you are willing to go the extra mile to help out wherever needed. You understand the importance of accurate and uptodate record keeping in a clinical environment and take pride in being responsible for this. You are a respectful and professional person who demonstrates exceptional moral values in everything you do. You are passionate about providing clinical support services and working as part of a multidisciplinary team to support the delivery of the highest standard of care to patients.
