****Position avaialble in the Call Centers located in Southifeld Michigan Atlanta Georgia Reno Nevada****
DUTIES and RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Manages all government orders arriving via EDI. This process includes but is not limited to:
- Checking info for accuracy
- Distinguishing between orders being shipped & Walk In Walk Out (WIWO) and following the proper processing procedures
- Matching item numbers
- Determining & communicating lead times of items listed as backordered
- Identifying any SIN001 items and following proper processing procedure
- Accurately routing orders through the Hazmat & Drop Ship Only process when necessary
- Following detailed procedure for orders shipping to APO/FPO locations
- Accurately processes and documents necessary information on all government Finance orders.
- Manages and accurately processes all orders received from the Advantage portal.
- Manages and accurately processes all Supplycore & Science Application International Corporation (SAIC) quotes and orders as dictated by customers specific instructions/requirements.
- Answers all inbound government calls and process all government orders received via facsimile.
- Manages all backorders for all government Servmart locations.
- Fosters the MSC Culture in the department and throughout the company to ensure unity of purpose and fulfillment of MSCs mission.
- Participates in special projects and performs additional duties as required.

EDUCATION and EXPERIENCE:
- High school diploma or the equivalent required. BA/BS preferred.
- Minimum 2 years customer service experience required.
- Prior ecommerce and government related sales data entry experience preferred.
- Experience interfacing with EDI applications/processes and government contracts is preferred.
SKILLS:
- Excellent time management and organizational skills required.
- Excellent customer service and sales skills are required.
- Knowledge of basic arithmetic required.
- Knowledge of MSC products and nomenclature is preferred.
- Good verbal and excellent written communications skills are required.
- Computer literacy and proficiency with email various internet browsers and/or the Windows operating system required.
- Strong attention to detail required.
