Rooted in the heartland of America the PHA CCC accredited PH Center of Oklahoma (Yes Oklahoma keep reading!) at INTEGRIS Health was born in 2014 and has grown to be one of the nations highest volume PH Centers. INTEGRIS Health is headquartered in Oklahoma City a top20 Best Places to Live by US News in 202425 where its flagship quaternary care hospital offers all of the adult advanced therapies traditionally associated with large academic centers. The PH program is a cornerstone within the advanced lung disease program that includes lung transplant interstitial lung disease and other advanced pulmonary therapies. We are comfortably situated among our colleagues in advanced heart failure/heart transplant cardiology and ECMO/MCS and continue to experience exponential demand.

We need a third PHfocused physician to meet our growing needs and who is ready to be busy on day one. Our reputation built on comprehensive evaluations patientfriendly communication collegiality clinical trial participation and exceptional treatment standards allows us to confidently embody our simple mission PH Done Right.

Along with a focus on PH this position will also provide 68 weeks/year attending in an advanced lung/cardiovascular/thoracic transplant focused ICU staffed by physician colleagues from the Advanced Lung Team. Opportunity for additional ICU time is available if desired.

Responsibilities

The Physician responsibilities include but are not limited to the following:

  • Thoroughly evaluates and manages each patient appropriately and documents information completely by use of written notes or dictation on a timely basis
  • Identifies relevant medical issues accurately and uses appropriate procedures and testing
  • Completes and maintains problem list medication list disease management forms preventative maintenance flow sheets and other medical record forms
  • Participates in the quality improvement and medical management plans as directed by the Medical Operating Committee
  • Provides direction to staff members for an efficient and smooth running team
  • Ensures fiscal viability of the practice
  • Complies with policies and procedures if applicable.
  • The Physician is responsible for patients.

This position may have additional or varied physical demand and/or respiratory fit test requirements. Moderate exposure to hazardous risks including potential for exposure to infections and communicable diseases blood and body fluids electrical equipment chemicals. Potential for bodily injury related to lifting and incidents of workplace violence. Must follow universal safety precautions. Exposed to constant interruptions noise disagreeable odors and assorted chemicals.
