- No late nights no Saturday/Sunday nights
- Ability to work with children
- Strong communication and organizational skills
- Ability to complete lifeguard CPR & AED certification class as part of training
- Ability to perform job functions in a warm humid setting and chlorinated pool (lifting standing for extended periods of time demonstrating curriculum skills and performing inwater rescues if necessary). Noise level is usually moderate
- Provide swim instruction based on the Goldfish Swim School curriculum
- Educate students on safety rules and regulations to prevent accidents
- Evaluate students progress and complete required paperwork in a timely manner
- Interact with parents/guardians on the activities and development of students swim skills
- Use problemsolving and creative thinking skills to identify and resolve challenges that students encounter
- Maintain and ensure proper storage of all pool equipment. Place and remove lane lines and class materials before/after lessons
- Perform light cleaning duties such as window washing deck mopping trash removal etc. on occasion
- Attend occasional mandatory workshops and inservice training outside of regular working hours
- Fulfill other duties or responsibilities as assigned by your employer

Each Goldfish Swim School is an independently owned and operated franchise. The respective Franchisee is the employer at each Goldfish Swim School location. Each franchisee can set their own wages benefit programs and terms and conditions of employment which may vary at each Goldfish Swim School location.
