TheDownhole Tool Sales Representativewill be responsible for driving sales and business development within the oil and gas sector. This role focuses on selling specialized downhole tools to upstream oilfield clients including drilling contractors service companies and operators. The ideal candidate has a strong technical understanding of downhole tools and a proven track record of building client relationships and closing deals in the oilfield services industry.
Key Responsibilities:
Identify pursue and develop new business opportunities for downhole tool sales.
Build and maintain strong relationships with key decisionmakers.
Conduct technical presentations and product demonstrations to existing and prospective clients.
Gather information for the preparation of quotes and contracts based on customer requirements and company capabilities.
Work closely with engineering operations and manufacturing to ensure customer satisfaction and successful delivery of services.
Monitor market trends competitor activities and customer feedback to adjust sales strategies.
Attend industry events trade shows and client meetings to promote brand awareness and expand customer base.
Maintain accurate records including contacts leads opportunities and sales forecasts.
Meet or exceed assigned revenue targets and KPIs.
Qualifications:
Bachelors degree in Engineering Business or a related field (or equivalent work experience).
3 years of experience in oilfield sales preferably focused on downhole tools (e.g. drilling tools fishing tools completion tools or wireline tools).
Strong technical knowledge of drilling operations.
Excellent communication negotiation and presentation skills.
Selfmotivated with the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Willingness to travel frequently within assigned territory.
Preferred Skills:
Existing client network in the oil and gas sector.
Knowledge of regional oilfield operations and service requirements.
Experience with CRM platforms (e.g. Salesforce HubSpot).
Familiarity with API and ISO standards relevant to downhole tools.

The annual salary range for this role is $80000$100000 with commission.
