Head Varsity Girls Swim & Dive Coach Cranbrook Upper School

Cranbrook Athletics is looking for a dedicated individual passionate about coaching to join our esteemed Varsity Girls Swim and Dive team. Our team has a strong track record of success including four team State Championships. This position is a fantastic opportunity to become part of a winning tradition. Cranbrook has a rich athletic history with numerous conference district and regional titles to our name. We have also secured an impressive 100 State Championships across seven different sports. Our topnotch facilities such as the Thompson Oval Wallace Ice Arena Williams Natatorium Keppel Gymnasium Jack Sanders Baseball Diamond and one of the premier Tennis complexes in the nation are a testament to our dedication to excellence.
Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
Coaching responsibilities encompass overseeing all aspects of the Swim and Dive program including but not limited to:
- Building competitive teams
- Organizing and conducting practices
- Supervising assistant coaches
- Arranging offseason strength and conditioning workouts
Expectations:
As the Head Coach you will play a crucial role in shaping the academic experience of our studentathletes. Your influence will extend beyond the pool as you will have the opportunity to foster a culture that promotes the schools values. We expect you to purposefully integrate these core values as the foundation for coaching and developing athletic programs making a significant impact on our students lives.
Requirements:
Successful candidates will bring a wealth of experience with at least three years of successful coaching at the collegiate or high school level or in a club setting. We place a high value on candidates with ties to competitive Swim clubs in the Detroit area as this demonstrates a deep understanding and connection to our community. Your local ties will not only enhance our team but also strengthen our community bonds a crucial aspect of our teams success.
