Job Description

Description

The Regulatory Outcomes Analyst is responsible primarily for reviewing and maintaining documentation data including charts and databases to identify operational and regulatory opportunities for improvement. The Regulatory Outcomes Analyst monitors federal state and JCAHO regulatory agency requirements as they relate to environment of care and life safety. The Regulatory Outcomes Analyst assists hospital staff senior leadership with functions requiring documentation and data analysis.



Responsibilities
  1. Reporting and Analysis
    1. Performs the functions of performance improvement as they relate to regulatory standards internal and external quality reviews. Designs and implements efficient and effective processes to meet the outcomes related to these functions.
    2. Responsible for reporting outcomes to operational workgroups and physician leaders.
    3. Maintains accurate and timely documentation of environment of care and life safety standards.
  2. Quality
    1. Maintains and creates policies as needed.
    2. Responsible for developing audit tools as needed.
    3. Responsible for monitoring and ensuring the organization is compliant with most current best practice standards
    4. Responsible for recommending organizational or departmental process changes to yield more desirable outcomes.
    5. Promotes the quality and efficiency of his/her own performance by remaining current with the latest trends in field of expertise through participation in jobrelevant seminars and workshops attendance at professional conferences and affiliations with national and state professional organizations.
  3. Collaboration and Partnership
    1. Responsible for the coordination and submission of data to environment of care including but not limited to core measures and lean initiatives. Continuously analyzes the data to ensure data integrity identify opportunities for improvement and make recommendations for improvement.
    2. Responsible for assisting departments in ensuring they meet the performance improvement standards necessary for accreditation by state and federal agencies.
    3. Responsible for facilitating performance improvement teams including root cause analysis teams.
  4. Other Duties As Assigned
    1. Performs other duties as assigned or requested.

Qualifications

2 Years in a Health Care setting

Bachelors Degree

Current RN License
