The Grand Rehabilitation & Nursing at Utica is currently seeking a Cook
Position Type: Parttime
Pay Rate: $18.50$19/HR
Schedule: days/midday
The Grand Healthcare is looking for a skilled Cook to join our team! In this important role you will help prepare and serve nutritious delicious meals for our residents ensuring high standards of food quality and safety in our kitchen.

Key Responsibilities:
Meal Preparation & Service: Prepare cook and serve a variety of foods for residents ensuring highquality meals.
Baking: Bake rolls cookies cakes and pies following recipes and dietary specifications.
Tray Line Service: Work on the tray line during meal service to ensure residents meals are served efficiently and accurately.
Kitchen Cleanliness: Maintain a clean kitchen including hand washing and sanitizing pots and pans.
General Cleaning: Clean kitchen areas and perform related tasks as needed.
Cook Requirements:
Experience: Minimum one year of experience in largescale cooking.
Leadership: Will manage the kitchen in the absence of the Food Service Director.
Transportation: Reliable transportation to and from the facility.
Physical Capability: Ability to perform physical work including lifting and standing for long periods.
Education: High school diploma or equivalent.
Team Player: Should be a strong team player with excellent communication and customer service skills.
Knowledge: Strong knowledge of largescale and therapeutic food preparation.
