Job Description

Telemetry Monitor Technician

Texas Health Flower Mound is looking for fulltime telemetry monitor technician is that you

Work location:Texas Health Flower Mound 4400 Long Prairie Road Flower Mound Texas 75028

Work hours:PRN as needed working7pm7am weekends required

Heres What You Need

H.S. Diploma or Equivalent required.

BCLS Basic Cardiac Life Supportprior to providing independent patient care and maintained quarterly required.

What You Will Do

CARE OF PATIENT/TECHNICAL SKILLS:

Demonstrates competency in the set up and use of the telemetry monitoring equipment.

Collects reports and documents patient information (rhythms/rate) timely and accurately.

Seeks assistance supervision or consultation when unsure of rhythm(s) identification.

Distinguishes and reports abnormalities and initiates action to provide.

Distinguishes and reports abnormalities and initiates action to provide continuity of care.

Processes admission and discharge or patients insystem promptly. Prepares monitor for next patient admission.

Notifies patients primary RN promptly of any changes in patients monitor view.
