Our client a dynamic and growing midsized CPA firm in Wilmington Delaware is seeking a Tax Manager to join their collaborative and clientfocused team. In this role youll work closely with clients and firm leadership offering tax expertise strategic insights and contributing to the continued growth of the firm.
Key Responsibilities:- Prepare and review individual partnership and corporate federal and multistate tax returns
- Consult with clients and senior staff on tax planning compliance and strategy
- Support the preparation of tax provisions filings and related projects
- Stay current on tax laws and apply evolving regulations to client work
- Continuously develop technical tax knowledge through learning opportunities
- Bachelors degree in Accounting Finance or related field (required)
- CPA license (preferred)
- 6 years of tax experience in a public accounting firm
- Experience in tax preparation and review across multiple entity types
- Strong communication organizational and analytical skills
- Proficiency with tax software Microsoft Office; QuickBooks is a plus
- Able to manage multiple tasks meet deadlines and work both independently and in a team
