The primary purpose of this position is to provide advice to the Project regarding inhouse spatial engineering systems while also maintaining project spatial data using computer software.

Key Responsibilities

  • Complete complex tasks including the collection importation maintenance and validation/ verification of geospatial data.
  • Prepare GIS products and services that meet client needs in accordance with agreed guidelines and with minimal supervision.
  • Perform system acceptance testing to support the implementation of GIS software releases interfaces to the GIS and supporting business systems.
  • Assist in managing the integrity and security of the geospatial databases to ensure project requirements are met
  • Effectively utilising Geocortex and other existing spatial engineering applications as a project lifecycle tool
  • Assist in the development of adequate training material in the use of spatial tools and systems

Qualifications & Experience

  • Welldeveloped interpersonal skills with the ability to effectively communicate with a wide range of people and build and enhance key relationships.
