Dental Assistant

Youll work sidebyside with doctors help create confident smiles and keep our patients comfortable and cared for. If youre upbeat organized and ready to make a difference every day we want to meet you!
Essential Functions:
- Performs sterilization procedures following protocols set in accordance with established guidelines
- Prepares dental equipment and instrumentation tray setups for dental procedures
- Obtains diagnostic records ordered by a dentist including XRays intraoral scans/photos and alginate impressions
- Provides direct patient care under the direct supervision of a dentist
- Creates entries in patients medical records as directed by the treating dentist
- Provides patient education including care instructions
- Performs basic lab duties including the fabrication of Essix retainers
- Prepares and documents lab cases ensuring timely delivery
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Minimum of 6 months of experiencein a dental or healthcare setting.
- Knowledge and understanding of dental terminology techniques and procedures.
- Relevant dental assistant licensure (if required by state law) or experience as a foreign trained dentist a plus.
- Compliance with continuing education requirements to maintain state license/certification (if applicable).
- Proficiency in dental software and technology.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Commitment to continuous learning and professional development.
- Ability to work efficiently in a fastpaced environment.

Job Type:Fulltime
Pay Rate:$20$30 per hour dependent on skills and experience.
Job Location:Inperson; local travel between offices may be required.
Work Hours: MondayThursday (8:30 am 6 pm or 9:30 am 7 pm) Friday (8:30 am 5 pm) Saturday (8:30 am 4 pm)
