Client Communication
Job Summary:
Manage all aspects of day to day operations as it relates to with clients and carriers to ensure all shipments are picked up and delivered on time damage free at the rate with clients and carriers to resolve issues as they arise.
Responsibilities/daily tasks
Order Entry & Management
oReceive information from clients and enter orders
oSend order information to logistics for carrier assignment
oTrace shipments through to delivery
oAdvise supervisor if anything goes awry on any shipment
oSend daily reporting to clients
oEnsure files are complete and accurate and get invoiced in a timely manner
Carrier Communication
oFax carriers load contracts on each load
oFollow up with carriers to ensure they are clear on what is required and can meet the requirements
oReport any carrier issues to your supervisor
oEnsure payables are complete and accurate on every file
Client Support
oWork with clients on any issues regarding their transportation
Team Support
oWork with other members of the Customer Service team as required
oClean up existing zones and terminals
Fuel Surcharge

Minimum 5years of related experience
College / University Diploma in a related field is an asset.
