Description The APS Bridge Program is a smallgroup program serving students with Autism and related neurodevelopmental disorders. Board Certified Behavior Analysts (BCBAs) for the Bridge Program provide development and direct supervision of Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) programming in the district. Responsibilities Services include: functional assessment/functional behavioral assessment behavior plan development development of IEP goals & objectives development of individualized skill building curricula staff and parent training and consultation to team members. BCBAs also provide these services in the school setting and they collaborate with clinical providers such as home service providers to ensure a continuity of direct instruction training and support to students with Autism and their family members to insure the successful inclusion of K12 students in a public school may supervise Registered Behavior Technicians (RBTs) in district. They also provide broad staff support and trainings for staff regarding use of ABA are required to be trained in SafetyCare and are strongly encouraged to become district SafetyCare manage caseload and prepare all documentation in a timely fashion; participate in related IEP meetings. Strong skills in organized data collection tracking and presentation are Program BCBAs collaborate with and participate in case discussions/peer supervision with the districts broader group of mental and behavioral health professionals including other BCBAs psychologists social workers and allied health Active certification as a BCBAMaster degree preferredStrong knowledge of the principles and practice of Applied Behavior experience in the evaluation and treatment of children with serious behavioral problems and Autism required.
