JOB DESCRIPTION AND POSITION REQUIREMENTS
The Eberly College of Science Summer Undergraduate Research Experience (SURE) program is a 10week summer training program (May 27 Aug 1) designed to give motivated Penn State undergraduates in the college the opportunity to engage in fulltime (40 hours per week) research and related professional development activities. Undergraduates will work on specific faculty research projects outlined by their faculty member. These research projects were previously discussed and outline with their faculty member and were highlighted in the SURE application in previous meetings. The goal of the Eberly College of Science SURE program is to offers students an immersive and hands on research experiences that will help them determine if they want to pursue a career in research while they develop skills for success at Penn State and beyond.Students will be required to attend professional development seminars throughout the duration of the SURE internship program.
Note: Only students who were accepted to the Eberly College of Science SURE program are eligible for thisjobopportunity.
