Job Description

The Regional Sales Assistant position schedules webinars for the sales team. The Regional Sales Assistant plays a pivotal role in the sales strategy of the company. This position is the initial contact for our client prospects and is responsible for setting appointments for senior sales staff members.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES

Administrative 100%

  • Reaching out to prospective customers by phone using a companyprovided call list to schedule them for appointments or demos with our Regional Sales Managers.
  • Achieve daily/monthly call and sales quotas (daily call range: 70 to 80).
  • Providing information about our products and services.
  • Documenting and updating customer records in CRM based on interactions.
  • Demonstrate knowledge of automotive industry and take part in group discussions.
  • Constantly studies and researches competitors current capabilities (strengths / weaknesses) and utilizes This information to convert prospects that are presently engaged with a competitive product.

EDUCATION WORK EXPERIENCE AND TRAINING REQUIREMENTS

  • High School Diploma or equivalent.
  • Previous experience in a sales position with cold calling responsibilities.
  • Previous experience in a customer service role.
  • Experience within the insurance/financial services industry specifically automotive or casualty lines of business strongly preferred.

KNOWLEDGE SKILL AND ABILITY REQUIREMENTS

  • Strong computer/MS Office skills; ability to learn other software systems quickly.
  • Knowledge of company products or ability to quickly learn.
  • Strong attention to detail.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Solid research and problemsolving skills.
  • Ability to perform under pressure and manage multiple projects.
  • Ability to analyze and think critically.
  • Ability to keep work well organized and prioritize well.
  • Ability to receive direction and work with supervisors well.
  • Ability to work independently as well as function effectively as a team player.
  • Ability to adapt well to change both procedural and organizational.
