Job Description

Position Title:

Lab Assistant Temporary

Appointment Type:

Professional & Scientific

Required Minimum Qualifications:

MS degree in Biomedical or Anatomical Sciences; successful completion of a human donor dissection anatomy class

Preferred Qualifications:

experience teaching human anatomy

Job Description:

This position will be responsible for assisting human gross anatomy students in the lab and facilitate their understanding of anatomy and applications of class material.

This will include:

  • Assist students performing human donor dissections.

  • Assist students learning osteology images and anatomical models.

  • Assist setting up laboratory exams and student review sessions.

  • Answer student emails.

  • Grading of student assignments and exams.

  • Develop learning activities in the lab with the assistance of the other instructional staff.
