Hexagon US Federal is seeking a highly motivated and detailoriented accounting professional to join our dynamic team in Huntsville AL. The ideal candidate will be responsible for a range of accounting functions including but not limited to general ledger accounting order processing receivable management and account analysis and reconciliations. This individual must possess strong analytical capabilities excellent organizational and communication skills and thrive in a fastpaced work environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare monthly financial schedules and journal entries
- Perform general ledger account reconciliations to support monthend and yearend close processes
- Manage accounts receivable and collections activities
- Oversee order processing and invoicing functions
- Conduct financial analysis related to order transactions
- Prepare and reconcile intercompany entries and balances
- Provide reports schedules and documentation for internal and external audit support
- Assist in continuous improvement of accounting systems and processes
- Support ad hoc reporting and special projects as required
- Perform additional duties as assigned
Required Qualifications
- Bachelors degree in Accounting Finance or a related field (or equivalent experience)
- 810 years of relevant professional accounting experience
- Strong understanding of government contracting regulations and compliance
- Knowledge of FASAB US GAAP and/or IFRS accounting standards
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite particularly Excel
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines in a fastpaced environment
- Exceptional attention to detail and analytical thinking skills
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with Deltek Costpoint
- Background in financial consolidation
No Security Clearance required; No travel required
