Job Description
The final salary and offer components are subject to additional approvals based on UC policy.
Your placement within the salary range is dependent on a number of factors including your work experience and internal equity within this position classification at UCSF. For positions that are represented by a labor union placement within the salary range will be guided by the rules in the collective bargaining agreement.
The salary range for this position is $121700 $190000 (Annual Rate).

Department Description
The UCSF Adult Cell Therapy Laboratory (ACTL) serves the needs of adult patients cared for by the UCSF Hematologic Blood and Cellular Therapies (HBC) Program Cancer Immuno Therapy Program (CIP) and Heme Research Program. Additionally the ACTL serves the needs of any other department using cell therapy products like the Cardiac Pulmonary department HIV department Solid Organ Transplant department Neuro Onc department etc.
The ACTL processes over 400 cellular therapy products to include Peripheral Blood Stem Cells Bone Marrow cells and Immune Effector Cells (IEC) collections each year for immediate use and offers longterm cell storage in liquid nitrogen.
ACTL activities are performed within the current Good Tissue Practice (cGTP) guidelines of the state and federal government and within professional society guidelines. The ACTL follows the regulations of FDA CAP CLIA and state of California. ACTL complies with the professional guidelines of FACT NMDP ICCBBA and all commercial/research IEC companies.
