Responsibilities
We are looking for a skilled and compassionate Specialty Clinic Nurse to provide direct patient care in a specialized clinical setting. You will collaborate with physicians and medical staff to ensure quality care for patients with specific medical needs while promoting patient safety and comfort.
- Provide direct care to patients including assessments treatments and medication administration.
- Assist physicians during exams procedures and diagnostic tests.
- Educate patients on their conditions treatments and selfcare.
- Document patient interactions and care in the EHR system.
- Monitor patient conditions respond to changes and ensure a safe environment.
- Support patient flow including scheduling and followups.
- Work closely with a multidisciplinary team to develop and implement care plans.
Qualifications
- Current RN license in IOWA
- 1 years of clinical experience (outpatient/primary care preferred)
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- BLS certification (ACLS a plus)/Mandatory reporter
- Strong communication and patient care skills
- Comfortable with EHR systems and multitasking
- Ability to lift and assist patients as needed
- Standing walking and sitting for extended periods
