Were looking for a skilled and compassionate Radiologic Technologist to join our dedicated Allied Health team in Syracuse NY. This fulltime position in an outpatient imaging center offers a stable MondayFriday schedule with occasional weekends. Youll perform general radiography DEXA scans and ORbased Carm procedures while contributing to a highly supportive healthcare environment focused on patient comfort and diagnostic excellence.
Key Responsibilities
Execute physicianordered diagnostic imaging procedures with accuracy and attention to detail
Position patients safely and correctly for radiologic exams ensuring comfort and compliance
Operate and maintain radiographic equipment including Carm DEXA and general Xray units
Apply ALARA principles to minimize radiation exposure to patients and staff
Support intraoperative imaging needs in sterile surgical environments
Assess image quality for diagnostic purposes and perform retakes as necessary
Document exams using PACS RIS and EMS systems
Conduct equipment quality assurance and coordinate service when needed
Maintain clean wellstocked exam areas in accordance with infection control policies
Collaborate with physicians nurses and technologists to deliver seamless patient care
Follow guidelines from SUNY NYS DOH and DNV to ensure compliance
Qualifications
Required:
Associates Degree in Medical Radiography
Active ARRT certification and valid NYS Radiologic Technologist license
BLS certification (American Heart Association or Red Cross)
Preferred:
2 years of radiologic technologist experience
Previous experience in an outpatient or surgical imaging setting
Schedule & Hours
FullTime MondayFriday 8:30 AM 5:00 PM
Occasional Saturdays and overtime as required
