Production Test Engineers (PTEs) are part of a manufacturing team who apply a variety of engineering and problemsolving skills to communicate implement maintain and optimize safe & effective production test environments and processes. Production Test Engineers use data analysis and Root Cause Corrective Action methodologies to maximize test yield efficiency and value. They influence test strategies architectures systems and transition to production. They validate and ensure compliance of the prime hardware to technical data package requirements and supporting test equipment.
**Please Note: This position is located at the Raytheon Din Facility in Farmington NM. RTX Din Facility adheres to the Navajo Nation Preference in Employment Act in areas of recruitment and hiring practices.
What You Will Do:
As a Production Test Engineer your responsibilities may include:
- Validatingnew or modified test equipment for production use
- Ensuring the operation of test equipment and associated work instructions are accurate
- Ensure test equipment and software meet the test requirements specified for the product
- Assisting with monitoring and improving the test process through analysis of predictive metrics of trends failure mode and test yields
- Perform preliminary investigation of problem resolution
- Developing test flows andcontributing totest capacity analysis
- Maintaining changes to the test equipment technical data package which includes drawings test instructions test position manuals and system software
- Assistingin nonroutine fault isolation diagnosisand repair of the product or test equipment
- Participating in root cause and corrective action investigations
- Providing technical training in both product and test equipment to production test specialists and metrology personnel
- Ability to obtain and maintain a Bureau of Alcohol Tobacco Firearms and Explosives Clearance (ATF)
This job is posted as ONSITE and is based at Raytheons Farmington NM site.
Qualifications You Must Have:
- Typically requires: Bachelors Degree in Science Technology Engineering or Math (STEM) and minimum 2 years prior relevant experience.
- Experience writing and/or interpreting technical or engineering documents
- Experience with dataanalysis
Qualifications We Prefer:
- Experiencewith advanced electronics/electrical engineering basic mechanical engineering orbasic computer programming
- Experience with handson hardware integration andtroubleshooting
- Experience inManufacturingenvironmentand/or knowledge of product and test environment
- Excellent interpersonal written and verbal communication skills
- Ability tomultitaskin afastpacedenvironment
- Ability to develop sustaining solutions to routine technical problems
- Available to cover additional shifts including some weekend work

The salary range for this role is 66000 USD 130000 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels.
