There is an open position in the Georgetown Public : Teacher Biology LOCATION: Georgetown High SchoolSUPERVISOR: PrincipalANNUAL SALARY: Salary and benefits per Georgetown Education Association DATE: start of the 2025/2026 School Year (August 2025)WORK YEAR: 184 days the school year & professional development daysIDEAL CANDIDATE:The ideal candidate should:Be energetic motivated individual to work with collaboratively with the grade level team a strong background in the content area Be passionate and enthusiastic educator who can motivate students to discover their creative to successfully collaborate with to manage crisis situations in a public school communication interpersonal and organizational skills are a REQUIREMENTSBachelors Degree required Masters Degree DESE certification as a Biology Teacher (912 level).SALARY & BENEFITSPer agreement between the Georgetown School Committee and Georgetown Education for health insuranceContractual sick days and personal days
