Mitsubishi Electric Trane HVAC US LLC is looking for a Data Analyst in Suwanee GA.
POSITION SUMMARY:
The data analyst is part of a new enterprise analytics team that is focused on bringing a new suite of functional and technological capabilities to METUS. This role is primarily responsible for supporting the various functional teams with analytics support in the form of education about our Data Marketplace analytics best practices and help building complex analyses. The Data Analyst is seen as an analytics evangelist with a passion to solve problems and deliver insights that support the continued growth of the business.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
The essential functions of the position include but are not limited to the following:
- Work with various functional analysts and related stakeholders to help them build insightdriven analyses that will add value to our business
- Serve as the subject matter expert on our analytics technological ecosystem
- Find opportunities for productivity improvements through data process automation
- Provide support for complex analyses and special projects as assigned
- Advocating data literacy and analytics best practices
- Building dashboards and data workflows for enterprise solutions
- Perform other duties as assigned
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Associates Degree or Equivalent Work Experience
- 2 years of experience in an analyst role
- Strong analytical and problemsolving experience
- Excellent verbal and written communications skills
- Skilled at tailoring technical concepts to suit users of all experience levels
- Proficiency with Alteryx data automation technology strongly preferred
- Proficiency with data visualization tools such as Tableau PowerBI ThoughtSpot or similar
- Demonstrated selfstarter who proactively identify new valueadd opportunities
- Team player demonstrating METUS core values including a desire to win together deliver excellence drive sustainability focus on execution and learn continuously.
The base pay range for this position at commencement of employment is expected to be between $80000 and $110000 per year however base pay offered may vary depending on multiple individualized factors including market location jobrelated knowledge skills and experience.
The total compensation package for this position may also include other elements including target bonus plans and discretionary awards. Subject to the terms and conditions of the applicable plans then in effect eligible employees may enroll in a 401(k) plan as well as participate in Companysponsored medical dental vision and basic life insurance plans for the employee and the employees eligible dependents. Employees will also receive 80 hours of vacation per year 56 hours of paid sick leave annually and 13 paid holidays throughout the calendar year depending on hire date. Employees may also take up to 12 weeks of paid or unpaid parental/disability/emergency/etc. leave if eligible.
