Job Description
Ohio Dominican Universitys English department is seeking adjunct faculty to teach first year composition in theacademic year. Our College Writing sequence grounds students in foundational reading writing critical thinking and media literacy skills (English 110) as well as research writing strategies essential throughout their college career (English 111).
Our upcoming offerings are for inperson weekday classes meeting either two days a week (on Tuesday and Thursday) or three days a week (on Monday Wednesday and Friday). The minimum qualification to teach courses at the university is a masters degree in the relevant field. Prior teaching experience especially of firstyear students is welcome and a strong desire to help students as they transition to college is preferred.
