Job Description

The Program Specialist II under general supervision performs specialist duties for the College of Engineering. This position is a temporary summer position. The estimated time frame for this position is June 2 2025 August 31 2025.

This position may pay more than the salary listed above depending on the qualifications and experience of the selected candidate.

Responsibilities:

  • Supervises Summer Program Counselors.

  • Prepares reports on program activities.

  • Monitors and prepares daily schedule for classroom activities and special
    projects.

  • Assists in establishing short and longterm goals and strategic planning.

  • Collaborates with other to create new and expanded programs.

Required Education and Experience:

  • Bachelors degree in applicable field.

  • Two years of related experience.

Required Knowledge Skills and Abilities:

  • Knowledge of word processing and spreadsheet applications.

  • Ability to multitask and work cooperatively with others.

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

  • Strong interpersonal organizational and customer service skills.

  • Maintains attention to detail and utilizes sound judgment.

Other Requirements:

  • Required to travel with students on all field trips and Professional Development with companies.
