Job Description
Are you a passionate and dedicated early years professional looking to take the next step in your career Aureus Primary School is seeking a Nursery Leader to oversee the development and daily management of our nurturing and engaging nursery environment.
Your Opportunity
In this key role you will ensure that children aged 25 thrive in a safe caring and stimulating setting while building strong partnerships with parents carers and professionals. If you are committed to delivering highquality teaching implementing best practices and fostering a love of learning we would love to hear from you!
What were looking for:
- Early Years Level 3 qualification
- GCSE grade C or above in Maths and English
- Current paediatric First Aid certificate
- Basic food hygiene certificate
- Up to date safeguarding training
- Strong teaching experience in Early Years with a clear understanding of current pedagogy
- Experience working in a nursery or school setting
- Experience managing and working within a team
- Ability to establish and communicate clear standards and expectations
- Ability to manage and develop resources to support child development
- High standard of written and oral communication
- Knowledge of the Early Years Foundation Stage and statutory requirements
- Good understanding of The Children Act EYFS Welfare Requirements and KCSIE
- Ability to design interactive engaging sessions for all learning needs
- Strong planning and organisation skills
- Positive cando attitude
- Trustworthy approachable and passionate about changing childrens lives

The Details
Start Date: September 2025
Hours: 8am 4.15pm daily (43 weeks a year) Parttime hours also considered
Salary: FTE GLF Specialist / Unqualified Teacher Scale
Closing Date: Friday 16th May at 9.30am
Interview Date: TBC
