Job Description

Your mission
Behind every smoothrunning hotel is a finance pro who keeps it all together.

Tasks:

  • Daily Revenue & Income Control: Import and reconciliation of POS data cash count verification and regular bank deposits
  • System Reconciliation: Matching Micros and FOPOS system figures and reviewing correction/adjustment reports
  • Accounts Receivable: Managing outstanding balances handling dunning processes and resolving credit card discrepancies
  • CrossDepartmental Collaboration: Coordinating with Front Office F&B and Events for credit notes invoice changes and payment followups
  • Reporting: Creating a documentation platform for weekly AR reporting and internal communication
  • Accounts Payable: Reviewing and coordinating incoming invoices reminders payment runs and documentation
  • Deposit Management: Monitoring and posting of advance payments with followup on missing payments
  • Petty Cash: Verifying and posting receipts organizing cash transfers and managing coin/change supply
  • General Accounting Tasks: Communicating with head office banks and partners; reviewing travel expenses and insurance matters
  • Documentation & Archiving: Accurate documentation and filing of all financial transactions and reports
Your profile
You are at the start of your career and want to gain a lot of knowledge in a short time including preopening.

  • Strong in Dutch and English both spoken and written
  • Excellent communication skills for daily interactions with hotels
  • Strong numerical understanding and attention to detail with a keen eye for irregularities and a preference for working with Excel
  • Assertive and eager to learn quickly taking on new tasks and continuously growing
  • Passion for hospitality and hotel experience providing a solid understanding of hotel operations
  • Experience in a hotel finance department as an income auditor accounts payable or receivable clerk is a plus
