The Guardianship Team is a dynamic supportive and collaborative group dedicated to supporting children and youth in care. This small team includes Guardianship Workers a Child Youth and Family Support Worker and a Team Leader who bring enthusiasm and a commitment to building meaningful relationships within the community. Comprised mostly of professionals new to the field the team embraces progressive and innovative approaches to service delivery. They work creatively and collaboratively with all Ministry of Children and Family Development service teams community agencies and Indigenous Nations to make a lasting positive impact on the lives of children and youth.
The Role
The Guardianship Worker plays a vital role in developing and overseeing care plans that prioritize the safety stability and wellbeing of children and youth in care. From celebrating milestones to supporting permanency your work will make a meaningful difference in their lives. By applying policy and best practices youll have a positive and supportive impact on local children and youth. About this Position:
Flexible work options are available; this position may be able to work up to 2 days at home per week subject to an approved telework agreement.
