Qualifications youll bring:

  • Bachelors degree in business Economics Risk Management or related field.

  • 5 years experience in a business environment involving the analysis of financial data and compliance with regulatory requirements. Previous Health Insurance experience and/or experience with risk management is preferred. Professional Risk Management certification is a plus.

  • Demonstrated problemsolving with a datadriven and detailoriented approach.
  • Demonstrated ability to work both independently and collaboratively.
  • Ability to manage multiple deliverables and produce results within deliverable timelines.
  • Demonstrated excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to transform analytical output into simple to understand findings and tables.
  • Strong Microsoft Excel skills including the ability to create complex formulas link data and produce insightful graphs and charts.
  • Proven ability to analyze report and provide insight on large sets of data
  • Proficiency in Power BI or equivalent tools (such asTableau or QlikView) for creating interactive and insightful dashboards and reports..
  • Curiosity to foster innovation and pave the way for growth

Preferred Skill:

  • Knowledge of New York State ORSA requirements

Your key responsibilities:

  • Work with business leaders to conduct risk assessments and leverage financial expertise to help risk owners understand and accurately assess impact of potential risks.
  • Collaborate with business leaders to create and maintain risk mitigation plans and key risk indicators.
  • Conduct complex financial modelling to assess impact of potential risk events and prospective solvency.
  • Develop update and maintain risk management and FP&A reporting.
  • Maintain compliance with Federal and State regulation relating to risk management.
  • Review and update policies and other documentation necessary to codify and communicate the governance and processes associated with the risk management program.
  • Work with business units to backtest risk assessments and quantify risk events.
  • Update and maintain risk management training materials for dissemination and presentation to business leaders and coworkers.
  • Maintain internal SharePoint site to communicate risk management information.
  • Other duties as assigned.
  • Contribute to our humble pursuit of excellence by performing various responsibilities that may arise reflecting our collective goal of enhancing healthcare delivery and being the difference for the customer.
