Required Education and Experience

Education
Possession of a bachelors degree in any major.

Experience
Departmental Analyst 12
Three years of professionalexperience including one year of experience equivalent to the experienced (P11) level in state service.

Alternate Education and Experience

Departmental Analyst 9 12
Educational level typically acquired through completion of high school and the equivalent of at least two years of fulltime activeduty experience at or above the E6 level in the uniformed services may be substituted for the education requirement.

Position Location/Remote Office:The office location for this position is at 235 S. Grande Ave. Lansing Michigan 48933.However this position has the ability to work hybrid (combination of remote and office). Selected candidates who have been approved to work hybrid must complete that work within Michigan. Candidates should confirm work location and schedule at the time of interview.

Employees will be provided computers to perform state work. Phones may also be provided for necessary communications. If working remotely employees will be responsible for providing other components of a remote office at their own expense including:
o A secure work location that allows privacy and prevents distractions.
o A highspeed internet connection of at least 25 Mbps download and 5 Mbps upload.
o Suitable lighting furniture and utilities.

As a Condition of Employment: this position requires successful completion of a background investigation and a criminal records check.
