Job Description
Cathedral of Mary Our Queen located in Baltimore seeks candidates for an Accounting Clerk. The Accounting Clerk serves as a staff resource in support of the Finance Director fulfilling parish administrative needs within Finance. They direct these efforts within expertise within shared ministries and with Catholic values. This is a parttime
temporary nonbenefit eligible position working 32 hours per week.
Essential Functions
- Maintain an accurate filing and recordkeeping system for all parish bookkeeping
- Accounts payable recording revenue journal entries etc.
- Prepare monthly reconciliations of specific general ledger accounts bank statements and credit cards
- Other duties as assigned
Position Qualifications
- High School diploma or equivalent
- Proven work experience (at least three years) in the accounting field
- Proficient knowledge of QuickBooks Online
- Knowledge of general office procedures Microsoft Office and Google Suite
- Ability to prioritize effectively manage time and have strong communication skills
- Ability to maintain confidentiality
- Knowledge and understanding of the Catholic Church and its mission
- Support and adhere to Archdiocese of Baltimore policies
Pay Range: $20/hour
