Job Description
Position Overview:
TheProduct Owner (PO) for Data Visualization & Analytics Solutions will be responsible for defining and delivering the roadmap forQualitrols nextgeneration SaaSbased data visualization and analytics platform. This platform enables utilities and industrial customers toanalyze asset health detect early failures and optimize maintenance strategies using realtime monitoring and AIdriven insights.
The PO will play acritical role in product lifecycle management from cradle to grave ensuring that the solution aligns with customer needs industry trends and business goals. This includes establishingcustomer panels for continuous validation maintaining aprioritized welldefined backlog and working closely withScrum teams and development squads using Gemba practices.
Key Responsibilities:
- MultiGeneration Product Roadmap & Market Needs
- Develop and maintain amultigeneration product roadmap aligned with business objectives and evolving market needs.
- Regularlygather enduser feedback to captureunmet needs and emerging trends.
- Collaborate withproduct management and commercial teams to translate market insights into actionable strategies.
- Customer Panels & Continuous Requirement Validation
- Establish and managecustomer panels to provide continuous input throughout the product lifecycle.
- Conductregular reviews with customers to validate product direction usability and feature prioritization.
- Leverage feedback loops to ensurecustomercentric development and strong market fit.
- Backlog Management & Full Product Lifecycle Ownership
- Own and maintain aprioritized welldefined backlog of user stories and technical requirements.
- Ensure that requirementscover the full product lifecycle frominstallation and commissioning to endoflife management.
- Definecritical product behaviors ensuring clarity and alignment with business goals.
- Full Ownership of Product Lines (Cradle to Grave)
- Act as thesingle point of accountability for the product line from inception to retirement.
- Drivelongterm planning enhancements and decommissioning strategies to maximize product value.
- Balance shortterm tactical execution with longterm strategic vision.
- Agile Execution & GembaDriven Development
- Work closely with theScrum Master and development teams to ensure smooth execution of the roadmap.
- PromoteGemba practices by facilitating direct exposure to customer environments realworld use cases and pain points.
- Ensure transparency and alignment withexpected delivery progress removing roadblocks for development teams.
Key Qualifications:
- 8 years of experience in a Product Owner Product Manager or similar role in SaaS analytics or data visualization.
- Strong experience inutility analytics power grid management or industrial IoT (preferred).
- Demonstrated ability todevelop multigeneration product roadmaps based on customer insights.
- Experience establishingcustomer panels for feedbackdriven product development.
- Proven ability toown product lines cradle to grave managing features enhancements and retirements.
- Proficiency inAgile methodologies (Scrum SAFe Kanban) and backlog tools (Jira Azure DevOps).
- Strong technical understanding ofcloudbased platforms APIs and data visualizationtechnologies.
- Exceptional leadership stakeholder management and communication skills.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience integrating AI/MLdriven analytics into data platforms.
- Background in developing B2B SaaS solutions with a strong customercentric focus.
