- recognized education degree;
- recently graduated or soon to be graduated from a recognized education program or recent successful classroom experience;
- ability to adapt curriculum programs and instruction to meet the diverse needs of students;
- ability to model teach and foster social emotional and cultural awareness;
- knowledge of current 21st century pedagogy and assessment practices;
- demonstratedability to work effectively in a team environment and contribute to the professional community at the school and district level;
- effective communication interpersonal organizational and classroom management skills;
- ability to integrate technologies and digital citizenship into educational programs;and
- BC Professional Teaching Certificate and current eligibility for Teacher Qualification Service card.
Teacher Pay is based on years of experience and TQS category (linkJuly 2024 Salary Grid ).
