DescriptionThe Certified NurseMidwife (CNM) provides comprehensive holistic health care and wellness care to women including family planning gynecologic checkups prenatal care inhospital births and postpartum care while following established standards and practices set forth by the American College of NurseMidwives. Relies on education experience professional training and judgement to accomplish responsibilities with a wide degree of creativity and latitude which is expected. Works under minimal supervision under the direction of the collaborating physician as appropriate and may lead and direct the work of others within scope of practice.
We are seeking a dedicated skilled and compassionate fulltime Midwife to join our dynamic and expanding midwifery team. In this role you will provide a full spectrum of care for our patients including both inpatient and outpatient services. As part of a growing midwifery practice you will have the opportunity to work in a collaborative setting supporting women in all stages of their pregnancy and birth experience.
Responsibilities- Clinical Practice Guidelines
- Adheres to mutually agreed upon Clinical Practice Guidelines within the scope of practice of a certified nurse midwife with collaborating physician.
- Creates and maintains accurate records appropriate legal documents and other reports of patient care consistent with the requirements of local state and/or federal regulatory agencies.

- Delivers primary acute or chronic care focusing on the maintenance achievement and restoration of optimal functions of patients.
- Consistently exhibits a professional manner appearance and performance in the approach to job related duties in an effort to maintain high standard delivery of health care. When in contact with pediatric adolescent or geriatric patients performs all patient care duties in a manner that demonstrates a humanistic attitude for the physical and psychological needs relevant to the age of the patient served.

- Provide prenatal labor delivery and postpartum care to a diverse patient population.
- Deliver care in both inpatient (labor and delivery) and outpatient (prenatal and postpartum visits) settings.
- Collaborate with obstetricians pediatricians and other healthcare providers to ensure comprehensive care for patients.
- Educate and counsel patients on reproductive health pregnancy labor and newborn care.
- Perform routine screenings diagnostic procedures and medical exams.
- Provide compassionate and evidencebased care to families fostering a supportive and respectful environment.
- Participate in the oncall rotation to ensure continuous patient care.
- Stay current with the latest midwifery practices evidencebased research and attend professional development opportunities.
Qualifications- Certified Nurse Midwife (CNM) or Certified Professional Midwife (CPM) with valid licensure.
- Minimum of 2 years of experience as a Midwife.
- Passionate about providing quality patientcentered care.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to collaborate effectively in a multidisciplinary team.
- Ability to work in a fastpaced dynamic healthcare environment.
- Experience in both inpatient and outpatient care preferred.
- BLS ACLS and NRP certification required (or willing to obtain).
- Must be comfortable with oncall responsibilities and flexible scheduling.
