We are growing in Burnsville MN and have an opportunity for a Materials Planning and SIOP professional to join the team as a Scheduling Analyst II Materials Planning & SIOP. In this role you would participate in the supply and demand planning process and be responsible for leading changes or enhancements in systems and processes to solve problems and improve effectiveness.

WHAT YOU WILL DO:

  • Participate in developing strategies for materials planning and SIOP.

  • Participate in the development of standardized processes within materials planning and SIOP in order to optimize the utilization of business resources and meet customer expectations for delivery.

  • Support the development of indicators that enable visibility to short and longterm market trends and demand.

  • Identify appropriate demand streams and supports in establishing data relationship linkages.

  • Collaborate with product development leaders and sales and marketing teams to develop demand forecasts.

  • Support planning capacity and fulfillment demand with plant manufacturing operations.

  • Collaborate with the manufacturing team and lead the development of monthly production volume planning using the business forecast inventory position actual customer orders and the defined capacity parameters.

  • Participate in identifying and developing new technologies to improve materials planning and SIOP capability sustainability and reliability.

  • Participate in establishing clear and robust metrics to measure progress through process improvements for SIOP.

  • Owns effective metrics tracking to inform and to drive results and continuous improvement.

  • Support the development of processes and plans to improve supply capabilities.

  • Allocate jobs in the system and kit parts.

WHAT YOU WILL LEARN:

  • Exposure to planning in a high mix high volume environment.

  • Opportunity to identify and participate in process enhancements for the product line.

  • Informal leadership experience leadership through influence.

  • Collaborate with planners across the site to meet product demand.

QUALIFICATIONS YOU MUST HAVE:

  • Typically requires a University Degree and minimum 2 years of prior relevant experience or an Advanced Degree in a related field or in absence of a degree 6 years of relevant experience.

  • 2 years of planning experience in a mixed model production environment using top tier ERP systems (SAP/Oracle)

QUALIFICATIONS WE PREFER:

  • Aerospace or avionics manufacturing experience.

  • SAP experience.

  • Experience using Material Requirements Planning (MRP) processes and/or software.

  • Advanced MS Excel skills including index match xlook ups pivot tables sum if & count if and concatenate functions.

  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to collaborate with crossfunctional teams to achieve operational goals.

  • Selfdirected; strong planning and organizational skills and able adapt to changing priorities and assignments.

  • Detailoriented and capable of managing multiple priorities in a fastpaced environment.

The salary range for this role is 66000 USD 130000 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels. RTX considers several factors when extending an offer including but not limited to the role function and associated responsibilities a candidates work experience location education/training and key skills.
