The Tactical Radars and Effectors (TR&E) Department within the Raytheon Hardware Engineering Team is hiring a Mechanical Engineering Section Lead for the Counter UAS Mechanical Engineering. The role is expected to be onsite and located in Tucson AZ.
What You Will Do
The Section Lead performs direct line management activities and provides leadership for 1015 engineers. These activities include technical oversight of programs technical development of people training performance management and resource allocation.
You will ensure twoway communication for section members; serve as the daytoday liaison to the program concerning employee job assignments performance and recognition and technical oversight.
Responsibilities also include coordinating program staffing needs optimizing resource utilization and interviewing applicants.
You will Lead a team with the Department Lead in the execution of Mechanical Engineering and Raytheon Engineering goals.
As the section lead you will lead team of engineers by providing highly skilled multidisciple engineering services across all program phases focused on the development design deployment and operational systems for use in US Government and Foreign Military applications.
The Section Lead will be responsible for leadership and mentoring of the team in proposal activities program startup and execution.
Qualifications You Must Have:
Bachelors in Science Technology Engineering or Mathematics (STEM) and 8years of prior relevant experience .
Experience in hardware engineering design development and production support
Leadership experience in frontline or project leader roles
Experience working on products for military applications and environments

The salary range for this role is 101000 USD 203000 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels.
