Pay $18.66 $21.66/hr ($16.66 $16.66/hr base plus tips avg)

Location Hook & Fork at Union City Market (UCM) in Union WA
NOTE: The Hook & Fork is a restaurant within Union City Market (UCM) a sister location of Alderbrook Resort & Spa located about 2 miles down the road from the main property.
Summary
As a Hook & Fork Server at Union City Market (UCM) youll serve up seafood and other Northwest eats amidst the stunning backdrop of the Olympic mountains along the scenic Hood Canal. Youll provide attentive counter and table service take and deliver food and beverage orders and play a key part in creating a delightful dining experience that complements the natural beauty of a unique waterfront setting!

- Welcome and engage with guests ensuring a comfortable and attentive dining experience.
- Provide menu guidance including specials and recommendations based on guest preferences.
- Answer questions about food beverages and other Market Hook & Fork Marina or Resort offerings.
- Remain attentive to guest satisfaction and respond courteously to requests in order to ensure guests are satisfied with food and service.
- Maintain clean service areas perform side work and assist with dishwashing as needed.
- Support teammates by assisting with tables clearing dishes and stepping in as needed.
- Adapt to changing needs to ensure smooth operations as directed by leadership.

Qualifications
- Required 1 years experience as a Server or similar
- Desirable Previous outdoor dining experience
- Desirable Indepth knowledge of Hood Canal region and Mason County
- Flexible work availability including weekends required
- Equivalent education skills and/or experience necessary to perform the essential functions may be considered
Required Permits & Certifications
- WA Food Worker Card required within 14 days after hire
- WA Class 12/13 Alcohol Server Permit (MAST) required within 60 days after hire
- Valid drivers license and satisfactory driving record is a plus

Physical Demands & Work Environment
- Physical Demands. The employee is regularly required to talk hear stand for extended periods walk sit climb stairs demonstrate hand dexterity reach stoop kneel bend twist push pull or crouch. Occasionally the employee may lift or move up to 50 pounds and frequently lift or move up to 35 pounds. Specific vision abilities include close and distance vision. The role may also require sustained visual and mental concentration.
- Work Environment. Conditions are primarily outdoors with exposure to heat cold and temperature variations in an uncontrolled setting. The position involves moderate noise levels and occasional exposure to certain chemicals and wood fire smoke.
