Develops and implements G/T programming for grades 35 students identified as gifted in the language arts and math. giving G/T students opportunities to explore particular interests through group projects and independent study. Collaborates with Grade 68 G/T teacher and OTL on initial identification process including annual coordination of CogAT testing and review of multiple points of identification data as outlined in the Gifted and Talented Program Handbook. Acts as a resource to K5 teachers across Lewiston Public Schools on strategies and resources aligned to the articulated core curriculum in order to meet the needs of the gifted and talented students in the general education setting Attend and participate in local and state G/T opportunities acting as a G/T information Responsibilities:Supervises Classroom and Students while at the program site. The Grades 35 Gifted and Talented program is housed in Connors Elementary School.
