Join our Engineering team as a Manufacturing Engineer II where you will work out of our Frankfort IN flagship facility supporting product lines! Together we make cool things! You will monitors and modify equipment to ensure safety and efficiency in the production line.
Role Responsibilities:
Implements corrective actions.
Reviews and verifies accuracy of existing procedures and bill of materials.
Negotiates final design to ensure manufacturability and product requirements. Conducts testing and evaluation of products and processes.
Conducts studies for process and product improvements.
Develops analyses and testing procedures to anticipate any potential process or product failure.
Conducts studies to improve plan layout production line efficiency and production line control.
Contributes to product failure mode and effects analyses.
Manages product or process development projects.
Collaborates on technical program objectives and product specifications that meet marketing and manufacturing needs.
Recommends and employs new equipment.
Provides technical support to developers to ensure manufacturability of developed products and processes.
Minimum Qualifications:
Bachelors degree in Engineering Computer Science or related field and 3 year of experience in manufacturing or mechanical engineering or will accept equivalent combination of education and experience
Preferred Qualifications:
Discrete manufacturing web handling or converting experience.
Experience using AutoCAD and Solidworks
Experience with Oracle or other ERP system
Experience in applying of UL508A OSHA and applicable NFPA codes
Experience with motion control variable speed drives and pneumatics
Design of the safety related parts of the mechanical system
Strong experience with troubleshooting Rockwell Automation / AllenBradley platforms Siemens experience is a plus.
