Required Qualifications
- Bachelors degree or relevant hands on work experience
- Established Customer Service skills and experience
- Possesses a high level of reliability responsibility and organization
- Strong verbal written and interpersonal communication skills

The Underwriting Analyst Employee Benefits will be responsible for risk assessment and decisionmaking for our existing block of business. This individual will work closely with the Distribution team to evaluate renewals and amendments/plan changes all while keeping the Companys financial objectives in mind. The Underwriting Analyst will also collaborate with other departments and vendor partners with underwritingrelated issues and applicable best practices.
Key Job Responsibilities
- Risk assessment and decisionmaking on renewals and amendments
- Work closely with the Distribution team to deliver timely renewals keeping the Companys financial objectives in mind
- Collaborate with other departments and vendor partners with underwritingrelated issues and applicable best practices
- Work within Equitables quoting platform and other rating tools to review and import census files plan design features and develop manual rates
- Execute to key KPIs including pricing strategy targets sales targets persistency and TaT performance
The base salary range for this position is $55000 $65000. Actual base salaries vary based on skills experience and geographical location. In addition to base pay Equitable provides compensation to reward performance with base salary increases spot bonuses and shortterm incentive compensation opportunities. Eligibility for these programs depends on level and functional area of responsibility.
