This role is hybrid based in Strykers Global HQ in Portage MI with the expectation to come into the office 34 days a week
What You Will Do:
- Design and develop schematics and PCB layouts for electronic circuit boards in medical devices ensuring alignment with system requirements.
- Develop review and execute electrical system tests using advanced equipment (e.g. oscilloscopes spectrum analyzers logic analyzers) to validate performance and reliability.
- Identify and evaluate solutions to complex product design challenges balancing tradeoffs at the component and subsystem levels.
- Development creation and refinement of technical documentation including schematics design descriptions stackup calculations and manufacturing test specifications.
- Interface with manufacturers to define and implement manufacturing test specifications for scalable production.
- Collaborate crossfunctionally with R&D Quality Manufacturing Regulatory Clinical Marketing and Project Management to drive project success.
- Build relationships and influence across engineering teams fostering collaboration and technical excellence.
- Deliver highquality results with passion energy and a strong commitment to meeting business priorities such as process improvements technology advancements and product development from concept to launch.
What You Need
Required Qualifications
- Bachelors degree in EE or related discipline
- 2 years of work experience.
- Advanced understanding of electrical components and manufacturing methods including common failure modes.
- Experience in interpreting and analyzing system drawings with basic Mechanical/Software/Electrical Interactions.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Ability to interpret analyze and test electrical designs.
- Working knowledge of the electrical design process.
- Proficiency in the use of CAD and/or other circuit design and analysis tools to design.
- Knowledge of standard technologies used in industry.
