Job Description
Qualifications and requirements
Applicants should have a current VA (or Multistate) RN license and possess a nursing degree from an accredited nursing school (Bachelors degree preferred). Additional requirements include:
American Heart Association Basic Life Support
Experience in clinical area preferred
American Heart Association ACLS within 6 months of hire

Department/Unit Summary
The surgical suite includes a 10room unit with a vast array of specialties serviced daily. With seventeen surgeons utilizing block time you can learn to circulate and assist within specialties like Orthopedics General GYNUrology ENT Spine and Pulmonary. The addition of the Mako and da Vinci robots show our commitment to best practice and a patient first attitude. With several nurses working this unit for 15 years or more the availability for training and mentorship is abundant. What sets us apart from other units is the multidisciplinary teamwork with all of us having the same goal: provide safe quality and compassionate care close to home!
